March 1, 1954: Castle Bravo thermonuclear explosion, a whopping 15 Megatons, a cocktail of lithium-6 deuteride mixed with lithium-7 detonated at Bikini Atoll at 6:45am sending super bright light across the pond. It was 250% more powerful than the force calculated by the scientists who had engineered it. It would become known as the worst radiological contamination in history. The test also quickly influenced popular culture in Japan and around the world by spawning one of the greatest (and certainly most durable) Atomic lizard movie monsters of all time: Gojira/Godzilla.

For Tesla lovers everywhere!
March 1, 1955: the United States conducted the Tesla nuclear test atop a 300-foot tower at the Nevada Proving Ground. Designed by Livermore laboratory physicist John Foster, the explosive yield of the nuclear howitzer shell (the first miniaturized atomic bomb) was 7 kilotons.
Told by Los Alamos (which then controlled all test site equipment) that no cranes would be available for nine months to lift his device, named Cleo I, to the top of the tower, Foster’s team modified and reinforced two Samsonite suitcases so two men could carry it up by hand.
Cleo I utilized a linear implosion design and was reportedly just 10 inches wide, 39.5 inches long, and weighed 785 pounds. Tesla was the first truly successful test of a Livermore-designed nuclear device (two tests in 1953 were embarrassing fizzles).
March 1, 1976: Bradford Bishop, a Foreign Service Officer with the State Department, murdered his mother, his wife, and his three sons. R.I.P. memorial plaque for Brad Bishop III is posted at Pyle Middle School in Bethesda, Maryland. He killed his three sons (William, 14, Brenton, 10, and Geoff, 5) while they slept. Bishop has never been captured.
"...others suspected that Bishop might have been a spy and that he & his family could be victims of a rub-out reminiscent of the film Three Days of the Condor."

I've seen things you Geopolcels wouldn't believe. A Palau-flagged tanker on fire off the Strait of Hormuz. I watched Fattah's glimmer across the sky like a meteor shower raining hellfire down on Jerusalem and Shaheds glitter in the dark, strike the Burj Al Arab. All those moments will be shadow banned in time, like the USS Liberty. Time to monitor the situation.
