I'd like to say this is shocking but it's the reality we live in modern day Britain , the body who's job it is to look after the integrity of our voting system has told election observers they should show “sensitivity” to the “cultures and customs” of voters when monitoring elections when it comes to certain communities.

One law for us another law for them !

The conduct of Thursday’s by-election was disgraceful. Accredited election observers from Democracy Volunteers attending polling booths in the constituency saw “the highest levels of family voting at any election in our 10-year history”.

As The Telegraph has reported, the guidance issued by the Electoral Commission instructs observers to show “sensitivity” to the “cultures and customs” of voters when monitoring elections. The result appears to be that the system has failed to protect voters from potential coercion.

Lord Hayward, the Conservative peer who introduced the 2023 law, is clearly right to say that things have “gone wrong in a substantial way”. The question is whether they will be remedied.

This is unacceptable , now it's been uncovered former barrister and DPP Starmer should sack those responsible for this perversion of the law.
