I think the fact the Greens won the Gorton and Denton election {all be it fraudulently} after Reform were ahead in the polls through much of the run up suggests the apatite for Reform UK may be sliding , possibly / maybe because of the arrival of Restore Britain to the scene , a 46% turnout is very low for such a high profile by-election.
Ben Habib's Advance UK also did badly coming in 7th behind the Monster Raving Loony party , they had a strong local candidate in Nick Buckley but he received less than 150 votes.
Rupert Lowe's Restore Britain couldn't stand in the election as it was formed after the deadline for candidates had passed but as they've amassed 100,000 members in just 2 weeks I think that shows there is an appetite for an alternative to Reform UK , I think it's telling Reform have taken down their membership ticker from their website.
Reform have been losing councillors and popular support since Restore was announced , at least 12 councillors have moved to Restore from Reform in the last fortnight , the unveiling of Reform's former Tory cabinet as their shadow front bench didn't go down well with supporters and no doubt Farage admitting the real reason he and Yusuf got rid of Rupert Lowe lost them support , we had 14 years of Tory lies nobody wants another party of liars in government.
I was concerned about splitting the vote but now as a Restore member I think we have the momentum , Reform are yesterdays news the future is Restore Britain , truth , integrity and action will win the day.
