Really nice setup.
I also love the "Black Stuff". I have around 6 or 7 hundred albums and have a collection dating back over 50 years.
Analogue forever!
My amplifier is a classic British Audiolab 8000 and my speakers are home built transmission line type. My turntable is a Project 5.1 with silicon bath damping and suspension. I'd like to build my own turntable one day. I also built my own interconnects from 99.999% pure silver 0.5mm wires. Fantastic pure sound and a fun thing to do.
Thanks for sharing all the pics and your story. Enjoy your music and have fun.
Cheers.
ps.. Please check your turntable though, it is visually not level and can be seen if looking at it's feet in the picture. This will cause bad tracking. Just thought I'd point that out. If the floor is unlevel that's why we can see the difference in turntable foot height so ignore my observation.
Also, I hope that is a remote control sitting on the speaker and not a mobile phone because strong magnets and mobiles are not friends.
