except the U.S. is not a democracy. the U.S calls itself a Republic which it's not, well i should say at a federal level it is where reps and sens are elected to represent the peoples interests. and at the state level same applies for the most part. except there are times where the people vote for what bills props, become laws. that doesn't happen at the federal level.
i would call that a democratic republic. but i tend to lean towards most governments if not all being a Kleptocracy or maybe a Mafia State in some form or another.
