Pretti was looking for conflict and he found it.  The week before he had spat at ICE personnel and tried to kick out a tail lamp on their vehicle.  And then goes to an area of unruly protest carrying a gun ?  Yeah, the only question was how long it would take for him to get plugged, and he got that question answered.

I loved how they illustrated that speech about Pretti with videos that demonstrated how violent and unhinged he was a week before he bought it. It totally shows what complete lies they will tell without an ounce of remorse or guilt for lying to the public. Lying is their profession, not being an honest representative of the people. They consider their constituents to be backward troglodytes and unworthy of the truth.

They must be so out-of-touch and sheltered from everything that they just read scripts they are given without a thought. They may not even comprehend the words as they come out of their mouths, or the sentences the words are making, as they are so far removed from reality. They only know how to read without actually bothering to understand what they say. The world of the elites is so far advanced, so highly educated and refined that they no longer use speech to communicate like the deplorables in flyover territory. They just do what they are told to do, no thinking involved at all. If they need to talk, they have a script written up by "their people" who know how to speak in the Deplorable language.

ETA: I'm serious about that last paragraph, I really mean what I wrote.
