I think they mean passports or visas as proof of ID which to be honest is already a thing if you start a new job here , a prospective employer requires a passport or similar , so no change there , this is another embarrassing climbdown in a series of successive embarrassing policy climbdowns over the last few weeks , Starmer has no authority in his own party and their fear of the elections in May is palpable , this is another small victory that shows his time as PM is coming to an end.
