At least, part of the problem here is the mentality of the "national security" crew.  They love psyching others out for the sheer enjoyment of it.

I think the big problem is 3I/Atlas hasn't looked or behaved like a standard Comet since day one yet it has quickly been classified as a Comet by governmental science bodies , the CIA not admitting if it has or hasn't got anything relating to Atlas because it's "Classified" information along with NASA's best camera orbiting Mars , MRO , capturing the worst picture we've seen because of "Spacecraft judder" as Atlas past Mars seems like cover up territory to me.

Avi Loeb isn't a science professor at Harvard because he's prone to flights of fancy he's doing what scientists should do , ask questions and consider all possibilities , if we naturally assume that anything that enters our Solar System is a natural object no matter the anomalous behaviour it exhibits because governmental scientists say it is then we are just accepting the version of reality they want us to believe.

I think there is more to this object than meets the eye hence its anomalies , classification and cover up.

We are like mushrooms , to be kept in the dark.

I'm really hoping that they don't get to make the decision to keep it from us, very much longer.  I'm really hoping something weird happens, that they can't control.

As for as the CIA?  Why would anyone ask them for info anyway?   Did they also ask NASA, the FBI, Homeland Security and ATF?
