You know, I'll vote for anyone that I think is the right man for the job. I even voted for a Democrat once, because he was the right man for the job. Two categories I will never vote for, however, ar 1) a Moslem, and 2) a Fundamentalist (A.K.A. "Evangelical") Christian. They are incapable of being the "right man for the job" in a secular world, because they are incapable of separating their religion from their politics. A capable politician should be able to advocate for ALL of his constituents, not just the re"religious" ones. God does not play politics, and I can see no reason why anyone else - especially those who claim to be followers - should.
I have my religion to be sure, but it is not political, it is spiritual. I won't sully it by trying to combine it with politics. That's just... wrong.
"God makes His sun to shine on the wicked and the righteous alike"... and I'm no better than God.

“Trouble rather the tiger in his lair than the sage among his books. For to you kingdoms and their armies are things mighty and enduring, but to him they are but toys of the moment, to be overturned with the flick of a finger.”
