Winter has come

Reading a post from a sister forum - some drama unfolding there - the post in question was about a bunch of satanic stuff and the reaction was pretty much satanic panic thinking from the 90's. Maybe warranted since the opening post, however this reaction is common on esoteric topics still today. People hear about the worst stories and just assume the world works that way.
Horror and religion is a potent combo in the minds of people. We all like the cheap thrill from the movies and in books.
The world of religion is as broad as the peoples imagination. We cannot just black and white or left and right it. There is a spectrum, the buzzword has been out for a while. Stop living in caves
Rudolf Steiner has been on my mind and the derogatory statements or character assassination in the first paragraph of the wiki page. It's strange none of the other mystics/occultist whatever we want to call them has it added
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_Steiner
Since I did the brief research on him for the other thread my youtube has been suggesting allot of videos on him. All the people speak with respect. Personally I have not found anything disagreeable in what I have heard.
Sure he might have said some weird science facts or got stuff wrong, everyone does and he is not even that far out, have you read The Book or looked at some other characters? Others that is way more out there that doesn't get "Many of his ideas are pseudoscientific.[44] He was also prone to pseudohistory.[45]"
Not even Aleister Crowly got that treament https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleister_Crowley
I suspect a bit of personal bias slipped into that wiki page and it's editing.
What about other religions and sects do they get the same treatment?

Quote:Anthroposophy—or the wisdom of the human being—as described in Steiner's many books and lectures describes a living path that can lead toward self and world knowledge for modern souls. The path of developing the soul's capacities, otherwise left dormant by a materialistic world mindset, comes to life from the prospectives offered by anthroposophy. Steiner describes a method that allows all striving human beings—in their own time—to experience a spiritual reality as the underlying, vital counterpart of the visible world. Anthroposophy naturally appeals to those who carry within their inner life a persistent desire to affirm a spiritual worldview.

Quote:Anthroposophy is an amalgam of the Greek terms ἄνθρωπος (anthropos 'human') and σοφία (sophia 'wisdom'). An early English usage is recorded by Nathan Bailey (1742) as meaning "the knowledge of the nature of man".[77]
