It has always alluded me that those who seek such positions of power, constantly behave
in a manner that is supposed to convince the public that they're doing it for noble reasons.
Being well-paid for talking in a warm environment and travelling on someone else's ticket
is far better than working on a construction site in November and anyone over the age of
five knows this. Hence, the constant enforcement via the established media that politics
is important and belongs in the ranks of the intellectual.
Hopefully we'll soon depart this era of schoolyard name-calling as an adult tactic and get
back to seeking those who can politic with gravitas. Somewhere out there is the real world.
