Migrant 'stabbed at asylum seeker hotel' as police swarm building

'An asylum seeker has reportedly been stabbed at a hotel in Aberdeenshire which is being used
to house migrants. The 26-year-old is said to have been attacked at the Hampton by Hilton in
Westhill by a group of men who were also staying at the hotel. Police Scotland confirmed there
was an assault at the premises which was reported to officers at around 10.45am on Friday,
November 28. The force have made three arrests and said a weapon has also been recovered.

In a statement, Police Scotland said officers were called to the Gordon Park area of Westhill
following a report of the assault, adding that the 26-year-old suffered a facial injury in the
alleged attack. "Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries
remain ongoing," the force said. "The incident is believed to be contained and there is no wider
risk to the public."

A Home Office spokesperson told The Sun: "This is a horrific incident and our thoughts go
out to those affected. Violence in asylum seeker accommodation is not acceptable and any
perpetrators will face the full force of the law." The statement added that the safety and
wellbeing of all asylum seekers remains a priority for the Government and it is committed
to ensuring they receive the support and protection they need.

After the attack, local MP Andrew Bowie posted on X: "This is very troubling. I've been in
touch with the Police over security arrangements at the hotel in the past and will revisit this
on behalf of the community. Now the most important thing is that they get the time and
space to investigate this incident."

Around 300 migrants were believed to be living at the Hampton by Hilton this summer...'

Man 'raped' in terrifying town centre violent robbery - cops release CCTV

'Police have appealed for help after a man allegedly raped another man in a town centre attack
before robbing him of his watch. Detectives have released CCTV images of the man they want
to trace in connection with a report of a rape and robbery in Crawley.

Sussex Police said: "We received a report that a man aged in his 30s had been attacked at an
address in the High Street on 15 October in the early hours. The suspect also stole his watch
and cash before making off."

The victim is being supported by specially trained officers. Detective Inspector Becki Buckley said:
“We are continuing to make extensive enquiries in this case and are keen to trace this man. If you
know who he is or have any information about him, please contact us.”...'
