China's inroads are being paved, already, throughout South America,
The Panama Canal situation is still 'up in the air' (to the last of my recollection),
Mexico is already well-bedded with China/Commu-Social-ism,
And, with no genuine presence in the region (or, even, 'on the continent'),
Venezuela offers the most sellable (for public consumption) place to begin a bulwark in this hemisphere.
Much of Venezuela's recent notoriety comes compliments of the Joe Biden regime.
...Their animosity evidenced in sending such emissaries as Tren de Aragua, et al...
Perhaps other South & Central American nations have done the same, but not with the same lust for the death and destruction of all the bald eagle stands/stood for... Exporting death, chaos and addictions...to the U.S.A. . True, if there were no market, it would shrivel away, as well - but, the market is there, and will always be there, for as long as there is product available.
Accepting that - eliminating such a regime (and its products - that include the incursion of said Tren de Aragua & company) is the only way to effectively deal with their threat.
I did not watch the video (- rarely will). So, if these points are covered or defused in the same, my apology.

The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves happy. The amount of work is the same.
