Also, on the very same day at 12:01 the National Security Agency (NSA) or 'No Such Agency' the most secret and far-reaching component of the U.S. intelligence octopus, officially came into being via a secret memorandum signed by President Harry S. Truman on October 24, 1952.
The Top Secret MEMO (PDF) remained classified for decades. No mention of NSA in any newspapers, total blackout.






Nov 4, 1962: The United States concludes Operation Fishbowl, in an "unspectacular" low-yield shot "Tightrope" ~10 kt, its final atmospheric nuclear weapon test in the series. Launched by Nike-Hercules missile over Johnston Island, in anticipation of the 1963 Partial Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.

The story of how this childish advertisement was made is amusing. Here’s the kicker: the father of the seven-year-old girl who provided the voice-over thought, correctly, that SDI would actually be costly, unworkable, and "counterproductive."  "Combative General Is A Political Godfather Of 'Star Wars' Plan" - Ret. DIA director Gen Daniel O. Graham is the man who produced the "Peace Shield" tv ad.


The 'Star Wars' Soft Sell (November 4, 1985)

The childish ad was created by the lobbying group High Frontier to build public support for President Ronald Reagan's SDI program and encourage people to use the term "Peace Shield" instead of the media-driven "Star Wars".

"I asked my daddy what this 'Star Wars' stuff is all about. He said that right now we can't protect ourselves from nuclear weapons, and that's why the president wants to build a 'peace shield.' It would stop missiles in outer space so they couldn't hit our house. Then nobody could win a war, and if nobody could win a war there's no reason to start one."

WWW III is a pseudo-documentary using archival footage, interviews and reports taken out of context and staged interviews to highlight a possible escalation into a nuclear war. In this feature, tension in East Germany, and an uprising triggered by a visit by Gorbachev sees a successful military coup taking place in the USSR. Western actions against brutal crack-downs on civilians involved increases tension between the sides, finally resulting in nuclear war.

It vanished like a pan of lasagna into Garfield’s belly... but its pawprints can still be seen on the Wayback Machine

By May 2001, Garfield’s Gmail was replaced by a free service at @e-garfield․com via Everyone․net. Google didn’t adopt the Gmail name until April 2004 — and there’s no evidence they got the idea or name from Garfield․com. But it's safe to say Garfield beat them to the inbox.

When he was Secretary of Defense (and COG architect and chief architect of the "war on terror") and the Greenbrier Bunker was publicized in the Washington Post, he issued a commendation letter with medal to Forsythe Associates employees. Letter dated June, 1992. Forsythe Associates was the hidden front company that managed the Greenbrier bunker.



Dick Cheney's post 9/11 wars killed (conservatively) 4.5 million people and displaced over 38 million more, according to a study by Brown University.

Say what you will about Dick Cheney, but he respected the rule of law so much that he, while serving on the House committee to investigate Iran-Contra, helped to write a The Minority Report opinion stating it was no biggie and we should let it slide.
