What I want to know is how did this company get enough data on you to prove your identity if even YOU can't prove your own identity?
And, in related matters, if they have that data, whom else might they be selling it to? Maybe marketing data envelopes to illegals hanging out in the Tesco parking lot so they can "prove" they are you by getting YOUR "digital ID"?
Fact is, digital ID is, in the end, just another ID, but one the government can track your every move with. As an ID, if I can get one "proving" I am me, then anyone else can also get one "proving" they are also me. There has to be a process to obtain a "digital ID" just like there is to obtain any other ID, so if someone else goes through that process first to "prove" they are me, and steals my digital ID before I get one, then does that mean I am no longer me?
