I am still kinda active and play golf at least 3 times a week but I to am fading fast and expect my deathly end sooner rather than later. I always swore if I went down I would end my own life before I became a burden to those who are with me.
The reason I write this is due to a conversation John and I had about our lives; yesterday..
Neither of us would want to be born again into this world as it is today. So...being a young person looking at the cost of education or the cost of anything much less a dim view of any conceivable future for a misguided young person I feel sorry for them. Natural selection where only the strong and bull headed survive might have a part in some of this.
A black kid I gave a ride in my airplane drove by and after seeing me stopped and came over one day while I was out on the porch of my house back in the states. He was upset and unloaded on me about his life and school during his senior year... He was a good student making A's and B's but his black school mates accused him of wanting to be white. He came from a good family as his mother was head of a large HR department and his father was chemist for a large oil company.
I told him after he graduates sometime later there will be a school reunion .. Those who are picking on you if they are still alive and are able come to the reunion look at the cars they drive and the clothes they wear.. See if they have a job other than running drugs and several gold teeth in their mouths from prior fights. Losers will be losers and their rewards are are usually 'sooner or later' a reward for losers.
He seemed to be satisfied with my reply and relieved... He graduated and went to college and my last rumored contact from him was he was married with kids and had a successful job.
There was a time for him he too thought the future looked very bleak..
With the current family structure of many families I can only assume a positive leadership is possibly lacking for to many of the young who off themselves.
At some point, all these individuals chasing 'Marxism light' are going to get their wish, and that is when they'll find out what fascism REALLY looks like. All the BS that has gone on recently with corporate level censorship, "canceling" (it was once called "shunning" and was just as evil), use of government agencies to harass, bankrupt, and jail people whose ideas contradict the beloved narrative ... was just a preview of what is to come.
It will be Kimmel and Colbert everywhere and all the time, and anyone who doesn't like it will get sent to "clinics" for "help".
It doesn't matter that we've seen this before and know what a horror it was (Stalin, Mao etc.) Too many people have been indoctrinated with moronic narratives and even more moronic assumptions. Orwell will have his day ... forever.
