And they are liars , so any deal signed by them is not worth the paper .
It's not just Hamas, but fundamentalist Moslems in general. Historically, Moslems view and use "peace deals" and "cease fires" to re-organize, re-equip, re-arm, and generally regroup for their next attack. That is why peace deals never last in the Middle East - Islamists are untrustworthy, and generally speaking, do not keep their word. They keep their word only until they can build back up enough to get the upper hand again in an assault.
"Peace in the Middle East", "Peace in Our Time", and such things as "Two-State Solutions" are all smoke and mirrors, pipe dreams. There will never be peace in the Middle East until one of two things occurs - 1 ) either the fundamentalist Islamists are eradicated, OR 2) everyone that is NOT a fundamentalist Islamist is eradicated. Only then can relative peace ever settle on the Middle East.
And, in the long run, it's not just the Middle East - the ME is only a springboard for world domination of Islamic fundamentalism, or, as they quaintly put it "the rule of Allah". One of their central tenets is "fight untilo the whole world is for Allah". The ME is just a staging area for that fight. We can see that in history - Mecca and Medina were the first springboards for Islamic conquest, then when they had taken nearly all Middle Eastern territory, they used the entire ME as the staging area for conquest (for example, Persia, India, North Africa, Spain - al Andalus - and eastern Europe / the Balkans / the Caucasus, etc). Then, they used THAT area as a springboard / staging area in their attempts to extend Islamic conquest to the heart of Europe and Russia, a conquest which goes on to this very day (see the events in the UK, France, and Germany, for examples), which at the moment they appear to be winning.
The only solution that will bring actual peace is the eradication of either fundamentalist Islam OR the eradication of everything NOT fundamentalist Islam, world-wide. It's sad, but true. The fundamentalist Islamic mindset will allow for no other solution until "the whole world is for Allah". Even then, if history is to be taken as a guide, the fundamentalist Moslems will turn on one another and vie for supremacy within the Islamic ummah. This "caliphate" will spring up and go against that "caliphate" as "the one true caliphate", wash, rinse, repeat. That is exactly how it has gone historically, and I see no reason to suppose it would go otherwise after world conquest.
It's a strange thing that the word "Islam" is predicated upon the word for "peace" (slm) ("shalom" in Hebrew, "salaam" in Arabic) when it is entirely and totally geared towards war. Either it's eradication OR it's total victory is the only thing that will stop the inter-religious conflicts that plague the Middle East, and which are spreading via unchecked Globalist "immigration" to OUR little pieces of paradise in the world..
So, we can fight them "there", or we WILL fight them "here", but fight them we will unless they are eradicated from the universe. There are no other options. That is how Evil works and spreads.
