I have been to small aircraft impact. Where there was heat there was melted aluminium. I would imagine the same at a larger commercial impact. Leftovers. One impact saw the passenger bodies disintegrate but there were pieces identifiable as human and not mixed with the wreckage. Just spread out over an area the size of a football field.
I must admit I'm confused now as I do remember the incident. Big piece of coordination if this Pentagon business is not what it seems. In saying that, I recall my father saying afterwards. (WWII veteran in RAAF). "Horrible things those crashes. Nothing left. All burnt and melted away."

There were no engine parts or other things to identify there was a 757 crashed there. When it happened I thought that was the weirdest thing .... now I just think there was some nefarious reason for the whole thing... maybe the missing trillion dollars from the defense budget and guess what. the records were stored at the impact site.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong.
