The August 28, 1909 Las Vegas Age asked "Is it fair to call the Las Vegas Valley a desert?" The Age included a few stories on page 4 that promoted the Las Vegas valley suggesting it is slander to call it a desert.


Spoiler Alert: It is a desert. Where a city should simply not exist.
