One of the head Cooks for Chiang Kia Shek came to America when everything settled down on Taiwan. He opened a restaurant in Norfolk Va. called China Gardens (I think that was the name as that was back in 1977 ? )
Swan La Ton or Hot and Sour soup was so good I used to buy a gallon and take it home for a week worth of munchies. The General Tso Chicken was also a great dish but to be honest everything there was the best I have ever eaten as far as Chinese food.
