727Sky - You know, I've seen at least one example of an SKS which was almost shockingly accurate! And this gun gets treated like garbage.
I long time ago I bought an AK variant which is the same way, almost shockingly accurate. I don't think I've ever cleaned it; I don't dare! (I'm afraid I'll screw up its accuracy by doing so). And, like you always hear people say about AK's; you could throw this thing down in a mud hole and run over it with a 5 ton truck and it won't even phase it. Say what you will about the AK, but in my humble opinion they are the most durable and reliable firearms ever developed. There are guys who slam these things together in the back alleys of Asskrackistan and Iraq, and if you ever look inside one of these shops it's just a bunch of jihadi's running around in their traditional garb not doing any one thing consistently. One minute they'll be bending sheet metal, and the next they run over to a forge and dump molten car parts, can openers and melted down refrigerators into a mold to cast a certain part out of garbage raw materials. Then they'll run over and bolt some wood stock on one of these things made from a shipping crate and old pallets. It's the craziest thing you'll ever watch! No QC, no organized process, just chaos which results in a finished product at some point (which looks like it even surprises them!!). They'll be looking at it, call a couple of their Jihadi buddies over, and say..."Welp, I guess it's done. Lets go build some more." They'll toss it in a box about 15 feet away, full of about (20) others, and go back to doing something else. It's just nuts.
I think the AK I've got was made in Romania or someplace. I bought it on kind of a lark one day when I was in this gun store up north in Ft. Collins waiting on my background check to clear for a pistol I'd bought. This was when they were dirt cheap; they had them all just jammed in this 55 gallon plastic barrel. I looked a few over, picked out the one which looked the most normal and threw it down on the counter..."Oh, and I'll take one of these too!"...kind of thing. I think the barrel right next to the AK's was full of old chewed up Mosin-Nagants. I asked them where their mags were, and they had about 10,000 of 'em, and grabbed a case of ammo too. What the hell, right? I think I paid like $150 bucks for it. I ammo was some steel cased Russian ammo, dirt cheap also, like Privi or something.
P.S. - One thing about AK's is, they might seem slow, but they hit hard as hell. I'd never want to get hit by one of these things!! I shot mine at this old steel plate this dude had which was all dinged up anyway, and that rifle totally fucked up that steel plate. Every time I'd hit that plate from about 100 yards away it sounded like it got hit by a .50 cal BMG round (seriously!). I could hit the same plate with my 5.56 and it sounded like you were shooting at it with a BB gun. The AK would hit that thing and it would go..."BONG-NGNGNG!"...and the plate would go flying like 5 feet away.

This is complete and utter BULLSHIT!! Just think about this for a moment!! If America lost "93 million Americans" to gun violence every day, the population of the US would be reduced to below ZERO in less than (4) days!!
Absolute BS!!
Thank you for posting this, because it's good to see what kind of BS the liberals are throwing out there (and people believe this kind of stuff too!! That's the most amazing part.)
