In 2012, a random guy shopping at a thrift store found lost homemade cassette tapes recorded in the 1960s-70s by a Vietnam War veteran from Memphis, Tennesse. These gospel-inspired soul songs were by Johnnie Frierson, suffering from PTSD, who passed away 2 years prior in 2010.

Putin said that the meeting in Alaska wasn’t just historic. It was a necessity after four difficult years of no contact.

And the agreements reached today might just be the first step on the path to peace in Ukraine.

Then Trump took the mic:

Calleing the meeting EXTREMELY PRODUCTIVE.

But said there’s ONE significant obstacle to peace remaining without explaining further.

Still, "there's no deal until there's a deal."

Trump and Putin didn’t emerge with a ceasefire or peace agreement, But the ice is broken and more meetings are coming...Maybe even in Moscow.

Putin switches to ENGLISH and invites Trump to MOSCOW for next round of talks.

Trump says he sees it as "possibly HAPPENING".

NO questions were taken and both promptly exited the stage.

Trump left to get on the phone with NATO and the Europeans since the Euro's might be skipping a few heartbeats. And Zelensky, who watched his future get decided from the sidelines.



Lunch was cancelled (no caviar? not a good sign but who knows), Putin returned to his plane and a quick wheels-up departure followed 19 minutes later. Air Force One was wheels-up 9 minutes after Putin.


Maybe Putin was eager to get back to the Kremlin...
