After sifting through all kinds of posts, profiles, and sources, the 50% average of fake AI facsimiles seems about right. Fake profiles are making AI-Chat-generated posts in phony user groups using deep-fake videos, fabricated documents, suspicious websites, other social media, and blogs as source material.
So, now we have to filter out half the available information to eliminate AI bots and deep-fakes in addition to the normal research to get to the bottom of things. How much of the remaining 50% can be reduced to the unadulterated facts? We'll be lucky to get it down to 1% or less to determine the facts to the best of our ability.
Forum boards like this are very clean, outside of what material may be presented. People will go to the AI chatbots to create their threads and posts, and so they are functioning as de facto AI bots without real opinions or interaction. So we may never be entirely rid of them in a strictly moderated forum for real people.
