Gee, saving a rare breed of smelt from the actions of farmers doing their job. Since I like eating smelt, I would have to side with the smelt if I lived there so I could go dip a pile of them to eat. I'm such an environmentalist, when it comes to saving something I like to eat a pile of is being endangered. Fifteen smelt makes a good supper. Who needs veggies when you can gorge yourself on some good fish.
