I can forsee a not too distant future in which these "killer drones" are hunted and neutralized with "hunter drones", perhaps equipped with EMP weapons to sterilize an AO of "killer drones" via suicide missions in which the hunter drones sacrifice themselves in order to kill the killer drones with EMP to fry their electronics.
Are we looking at a future where warfare becomes automated, robots hunting and killing robots without any human involvement on the ground or in the air? What does warfare become when there is no longer any danger to humans, which has traditionally been the dis-incentive against war?

“Trouble rather the tiger in his lair than the sage among his books. For to you kingdoms and their armies are things mighty and enduring, but to him they are but toys of the moment, to be overturned with the flick of a finger.”
