FBI Told to Flag Mentions of Trump in Epstein Files, Dem Senator Says
Quote:Dick Durbin is leading the Senate Judiciary Committee in an effort to receive more transparency regarding the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files, particularly an order from Attorney General Pam Bondi for FBI agents to “flag” any mention they made of President Trump.
In a letter addressed to Bondi on Friday, Durbin wrote: “According to information my office received, you then pressured the FBI to put approximately 1,000 personnel in its Information Management Division (IMD), including the Record/Information Dissemination Section (RIDS), which handles all requests submitted by the public under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act, on 24-hour shifts to review approximately 100,000 Epstein-related records in order to produce more documents that could then be released on an arbitrarily short deadline.”
“My office was told that these personnel were instructed to ‘flag’ any records in which President Trump was mentioned,” he added.
There was likely something for those agents to flag, given Trump’s well-documented relationship with the defamed sex trafficker. There’s the 2002 New York magazine quote where Trump referred to Epstein, his friend of “15 years,” as a “terrific guy” who liked women “on the younger side.” And there was the recent Wall Street Journal report that showed Trump writing a strange birthday message to Epstein in 2006, with the closing line “may every day be another wonderful secret.”
But what else was flagged under Bondi’s watch, and what happened to it? Durbin’s report asks just that:
Quote:Why were personnel told to flag records in which President Trump was mentioned?Trump’s rollout of the Epstein files has been so disorderly that it has Democrats and the most hardcore MAGA loyalists asking the exact same question: What is the truth about Epstein?
1. Please list all political appointees and senior DOJ officials involved in the decision to flag records in which President Trump was mentioned.
2. What happened to the records mentioning President Trump once they were flagged?
The due date for Durbin and the committee’s request is August 1. Trump and Bondi have yet to comment.
After the white washing Phase 2 was never released and it was called a "hoax."
Trump did not waste time to "clean" the Epstein files , then he changed he`s tune and started saying it was all hoax.
To be utterly and completely honest, I don't know that Trump actually did order that. I have no evidence that he did other than Dick Durbin's say-so, and I've never caught Dick Durbin telling a truth about anything at all. I would not believe him without independent confirmation if he told me the sky was blue.
Also, the Democrats smell blood in the water over Trump's apparent mishandling of the Epstein debacle, and as sharks will do, when they smell blood in the water they go into a feeding frenzy. They have their marching orders from the Globalists, and are rushing to carry them out. Frankly, the Democrat response to this fiasco is starting to strongly remind me of a black psyop. There are a lot of lies being told, but they always try to lead in with a bit of truth flowing into some half-truths to gain the public trust before they launch into blatant lies, which is a classic propaganda psyop technique which leads the victims right down the garden path.
There is no doubt that team Trump (apparently) woefully mishandled this thing, and there is no doubt there is more to it than they are letting out. My feeling in the matter is that the Globalists laid a trap for him which he seems to have walked right into, and now they are tightening the screws on him, using the Democrats and psyops to do it. He could still get out of it, if he wants to badly enough. We will have to wait and see if he wants to badly enough, and if he does not, we will be left wondering why that was.
If there were anything damning on Trump in the Epstein files, it would have been "leaked" long ago, before he won re-election. At the very least, it would have been leaked as an "October surprise". The fact that it was not informs me that there was nothing there. Now I believe they are scrambling to make stuff up so that they can now try to make it stick to the Teflon Don now that they think they have him suitably prepared for basting.
I expect we will see more "leaks" of alleged Trump misconduct material from the Epstein files. When that happens, ask yourself this - why did it take so long for them to leak it, knowing they have had the files for years? The answer to that is that it was not originally in the files, and they set to work making it up after he was re-elected against all odds and despite their best efforts to derail his candidacy.
Anything "leaked" from this point forward will have been made up and added in to the actual original files. Otherwise it would have been leaked long ago. They are preparing for that now, with this allegation from Durban.
Think like a Globalist, act like a localist. Be on the lookout for psyops from this point forward.
ETA: I was sitting here thinking about this. If Trump is any good at 3-D chess, he may be setting a trap for the Globalists, which Durban just walked in to. Only time will tell who's going to win this game, and we won't know until the dust settles and the smoke clears. All I can say for sure is that setting a trap for those trying to trap me is something I would do if I were in Trump's shoes... but when you do that, you have to be prepared to play it out to the bitter end, balls to the wall.
There may be some high-level, high stakes games being played right before our eyes.
