However, if it's mainstream... the narrative will be managed.

'A protest outside a hotel housing asylum seekers descended into violence as anti-immigration protesters
clashed with counter-demonstrators. Scores of people gathered outside The Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex on
Sunday after an asylum seeker was accused of committing three sexual assaults — just eight days after he
arrived in the UK by boat.
The world keeps turning and the times keep a-changing.
"Epping migrant hotel protest descends into violence as fight breaks out". A fight? Just one in that crowd? A FIST fight? And that counts as a protest "descending into violence"? Whomever wrote that headline ought to take a look at how these dipshits "protest" over here in their "mostly peaceful protests"!
I can't even pretend to understand current British culture, because even my own, the one I grew up in, is becoming more and more alien and unrecognizable..
Back when I was coming up, in this area, The miscreant himself would have been found mysteriously dead, face down in a ditch, if he were ever even found at all. Most likely he would have just vanished without a trace, and the story would have grown that he simply "must have moved on to greener pastures". It would be about 5000 years before an archaeologist found his skeleton at the bottom of a mine shaft, or found his DNA in a pile of fossilized pig crap.
Nowadays, I doubt that would fly even around here, given the high profile of the case, and the ongoing infiltration of carpetbaggers and scalawags hell bent on protecting and defending his sorry ass and that ilk in general, who are influencing the young to forsake their culture in favor of "civilization" and "D.I.E." ("D.E.I." is not an accurate enough acronym for my taste).
BUT - if that is "civilization", I want no part of it. give me good old barbarism, where you at least know where you stand and can defend your own family, any old time.
Also back in the old days, in the aftermath of such an even and the disappearance of the miscreant "for greener pastures", that housing unit would have been burnt to the ground, with anyone attempting to escape the flames getting themselves all punctured up for their trouble. The perpetrators would them have simply melted back into the mountains and hollers, under a blanket of forest canopy, and no one would have any idea who had been there, much less be able to identify them. Anyone you asked would just shrug and say "Naw, I've no ideer who it mought have been. T'aint none of my business, no how. I weren't there, neither as burn-er or burn-ee, so none of my concern."
That was just the Hillbilly Way back then. We burnt shit down and killed folk when they got too far out of hand. It might have been "barbaric", but we had a lot less violent crime in those days. Criminals understood just how they were going to be handled as soon as they were caught, and elected to either not do it to begin with, or not get caught by skying their asses out to "greener pastures".
There were exactly 2 unjustified killings here while I was growing up - 3, if you count my acquaintance Clinton being killed by Union goons... but that happened after I was gone from here, out into the World of the Flatanders. The first was Woody McClanahan being robbed and shot at his store. that was apparently done by two fellas who were "just passin' through", as they were never caught or heard from again. They just vanished. The second was another friend of mine who got stabbed during the heat of an argument, but that fella got caught by the law, which was pretty lucky for him.
Now, to be sure, there were other killings here and there, but those were of the justified variety, not unjustified. Now, your idea of "justified" and my idea of it may not be just exactly the same, but my women and children were gonna be kept safe and secure according to MY idea of "justified". When it comes to the safety of my family, I can't say that any one else's opinion matters.
Rapes and sexual assaults were practically unheard of. All our women had fathers and brothers and cousins, who all took a dim view of such goings-on, so anyone dumb enough to give it a try got what they got. They usually vanished, too. We didn't paint us up some sign lettered "I'm so mad I made a sign!" and head out to our favorite protest march, we instead just girded our loins, got to work and took care of business.
I'm still thataway, which I reckon is why I don't have nearly as much trouble in my environs as other folks may have. Everyone here knows how I am, so they don't muck around with me or mine, generally.
I've only had two incidents since I've been back here. One was a gaggle of dumbasses who pulled in down at my bridge, piled out of their car, and busted a few caps in an effort to intimidate my neighbor, who is also my cousin. I took exception to that because it disturbed my peace and quiet, so I hauled out my rifle, and proceeded to make the dirt dance at their feet as a warning. They left so fast there were holes in the air where they had been standing. The other was in the aftermath of hurricane Helene, where some dumbass got the idea that looting might just be the thing to do since the electricity (and therefore internet, phones, and even cell towers, too) was down and no one could get any help out here if the shit hit the fan... but when he set my car alarm off in the dark of the night - I reckon he forget that the electricity being down doesn't affect battery operated stuff - well, that resulted in his abrupt departure as well. He came to a sudden realization that he was included in the "no one" who could get any help out here if the shit hit the fan.
I just don't understand the modern world, and that means all over the modern world - either here OR there - where such events are allowed to go on unencumbered. It's almost like modern society just plain condones such shenanigans.
And that ain't any kind of "civilization" that I can recognize.
