FCD - I noticed that problem 2 or so years ago when this site was being setup. I reported it at the time but this little annoyance paled compared to the bigger problems. By the time those bigger issues were fixed I had forgot about it.
In this case I just insert the member name to whom I'm directly replying to, like above.
Besides, too much tinkering around might cause a major break.
That's what happened many times back then. Don't know about now and if Ninurta can't reproduce it then it is what it is.
If there were dozens on this site it would be an issue vs annoyance. Ok, I'm different.

If you add ten emojis or ten images in a post it will not append your post. I know that doesn't help just something I noticed a long time ago since I'm a heavy image poster.
