Bit of background. Some people are unhappy with the actor in the new superman movie for omitting the words "the American way" from "truth, justice, and the American Way" (the actor replaced the phrase with "good stuff").
My take is that this post is sarcastic commentary and a put down directed at the film.
It's my understanding that the new Superman movie is intended as "woke" social commentary on immigration, which the director made sure to point out in an interview by saying something like "Superman was an immigrant, and he did ok by us" or something like that. So, it is unsurprising that "The American Way" was dropped from the motto, since the destruction of the American Way is the goal and intent of the unfettered "immigration" promoted by the Left wingers.
Personally, I think the movie will be a box-office flop, because 1) People are getting worn the hell out by all these movies aimed at telling them how to think when they can figure that out all by themselves, 2) people go to see movies to be entertained, not preached at and given their daily dose of social propaganda, and 3) we've already been "Supermanned" to death, with more movies and TV series than I can count - to what entertainment purpose is yet another one?
