You know, at some point I think you have to seriously ask..."Whose side is the CIA on???"...and..."Is the CIA on anyone's side but the CIA's??"
I am not convinced at all that the CIA is on the side of the American government, or the American taxpayer. Seems to me they are an organization who is without rules, and amount to a bunch of rich kids from Ivy league schools who are left to their own devices to come up with the weirdest shit they can think of, and then act on it. For what reason, and purpose? No one has a clue.
A common matra of the CIA is..."We can neither confirm nor deny that". Well, after all these years, it seems to me there might be some value in declassifying some of your successes, ones which really did serve the interests of the American public, and celebrating those successes. Or...do they not exist?
