Simply put, the "Mandela Effect" I have always understood to mean a forced..."You're remembering it wrong"..., but to what end in this case? The "machine" wants to make me think I'm crazy...for what purpose? And why now? I mean, I can see Dr. Evil placing his pinkie up to the edge of his mouth in his volcano lair and cackling..."This guy has gotten just a little too smart for his britches! He's gotten too close! So, we'll FIX that! ENGAGE THE MANDELA BEAM! Mwahh hahaha ha haaaaa!!!"
I've always had mixed feelings about the Mandela Effect. This is primarily because actions rarely happen without some endgame. Seemingly random natural events like say an earthquake or a lightning strike take place in order to equalize a state of 'imbalance' (for wont of a better term). Consequently, in an abstract sense, there is a significant amount of energy built up in advance of one of these events. This energy must come from somewhere, and must have some reason. Inevitably, these events can be traced back to conditions, which go unchecked, allowing said energy to build up with no constructive outlet. The point here being, even the Mandela Effect is not a 'free lunch'. There is always a cost.
But enough waxing philosophique. Why lil' ol' me? Why some random Thursday night? Why John? To the best of my knowledge, John never hurt a soul. Ah, but then there's me...the Evil FCD...master of disaster and chaos, Grand Poobah of the Murphy's Law Victims Support Network. WAIT!....That's it! That's the ticket!
