In those other examples you mentioned there wasn't the same groundswell of social media sympathy for the bad guys like there is in LA at the moment. I could also see this escalating to other states as well.
There are two central theme to the current violence in LA. And, as usual, the leftwing protestors don't have a unified message. One theme is ICE and their deportations, and the other is the anti-Israel movement. You've got both involved in the protests in LA. That said, I think the protests and violence are getting a lot of support from the illegal community.
I think this just goes to show just how many of these illegals have gotten into this nation, and just how much damage they have caused and continue to cause (and will for the foreseeable future).
