Kind of surprised to see a couple pistols on that list. The Kahr especially. Most of the Kahr's I've seen are pretty rock solid, but I haven't handled one in a few years so maybe they've changed. Other than that, there were the usual suspects I expected to see. Some of them warranted, and some not so much.
One pistol which always seems to make these kinds of lists is Hi-Point. Hi-Point pistols from a quality, fit and ergonomics standpoint are complete garbage. I would never knowingly purchase one. However, un-reliability is not one of their characteristics. They may be ugly, and so inaccurate you've probably got a better chance of hitting something by throwing the pistol at it rather than shooting it, but unreliable is not one of their traits. Those pistols will eat about anything you feed them, and I've never witnessed a FTF with one. Demo Ranch has a torture test video they did with one, and they even shot it (in the slide) with another pistol and it would STILL fire! They threw it in water, mud and every other thing you can think of and the thing would still fire. And this is pretty consistent with what I've observed also. The widow lady down the road wanted some instruction with her "new" pistol. She showed up with a HP pistol. My gawd, this thing weighed about 27 lbs, had about an 80 lb trigger pull and was ugly beyond description, but it'd still fire. It was hideous, but it would shoot.
One I was surprised not to see on the list is the new Colt Python. Probably one of the finest wheel guns ever made, and Colt turned around and totally screwed the pooch with this "new & improved" version. It's a mess, and it belongs on this list (sadly). This fact, and others, makes me question the veracity of this list.
