Did John Dee open the door to the Apocalypse?
In 2016, X-ray examination of Henry Gillard Glindoni’s painting of John Dee Performing an Experiment before Elizabeth I revealed that a circle of human skulls was present in an earlier version of the work.

Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) had an association with Theosophical and Rosicrucian links and with a political Occult Secret Society in London known as the "Orphic Circle", (so named by Emma Britten) a secret group that studied deep somnambulist trance as a process that could open up supernatural seership. The Circle's membership that she named in her book "Ghost Land" included future Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, Authors Charles Dickens and Edward Robert Lytton Bulwer-Lytton, 1st Earl of Lytton a protégé of Benjamin Disraeli and his father Edward Bulwer-Lytton was a English writer, politician, and Rosicrucian (coined the phrase "the pen is mightier than the sword") and a gallery of other prominent individuals of noble Rank & royalty in 19th Century secret English Society.
John Dee, William Lilly, Elias Ashmole (Ashmolean Library/Museum at Oxford), George Kitchin & his daughter Alexandra, Emma Hardinge Britten (Emma Floyd) a super clairvoyant according to those that knew her; Alice Liddell and others are all associated with Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" & "Alice through the Looking-glass" in which Carroll was part of this obscure English Occult Group called the "Orphic Circle" that at the time featured many prominent figures who searched for vessels of Somnambulist contact with higher intelligence. They worked with young female child psychics age 9-14 that came from elite families in creating young clairvoyants and somnambulists to gather (channel) astral assets and state secrets.
Helena Blavatsky had said that she had never seen a more clairvoyant trance psychic channel person than Emma Britten.
Lewis Carroll's favourite photographic subject was a girl named Alexandra “Xie” Kitchin who was the daughter of his Oxford friend George Kitchin.

According to old literature, Orphic Circle initiates were used in accessing stargates & portals.
Elias Ashmole, had become fascinated by translating Latin alchemical works by Arthur Dee (the son of John Dee) who had these scrying obsidian mirrors...Looking-glass.
You may notice this somnambulist trance psychic state theme is depicted in Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, Wizard of Oz, and Labyrinth which Emma Britten from the 19th century was the first to confirm through her involvement with the Orphic Circle.
Many of Lewis Carroll's photographs of Alice Liddell and Alexandra are of them asleep or deep trance state which may have esoteric significance in realms of spiritual enlightenment, dream world, and accessing information for those white knights guiding the child psychics through the astral realm and requesting it...the secret Orphic Circle members which were high ranking nobility politicians and astute literary figures.
Also, note in the first edition of Looking-glass that Alice started as a pawn named "Lilly" and later edition Carroll removed the Lilly reference. Alice became Queen in a remarkable 11 chess moves on this psycheldelic chess board in the Looking-Glass. Oddly there are no Bishop pieces in the story and Carroll had decided not to become a priest/Bishop. Also a bishop chess piece is limited to diagonal movement...X pattern.
There is something to it and it's not all smoke 'n mirrors. This esoteric stuff goes on & on to infinity that can drive one mad.
