A mother who is also a history teacher was arrested for confiscating her children's iPads so they would concentrate on doing their home work , her children were taken out of class for questioning by the police over the "incident.

Vanessa Brown, 50, a history teacher from Cobham, Surrey, was accused of stealing the devices after taking them away temporarily to encourage her children to focus on schoolwork while she visited her mother.
Police tracked the two iPads to the grandmother’s home after receiving a report of a suspected theft from a man in his 40s. Officers subsequently arrested Ms Brown on March 26, held her in custody at Staines police station for seven hours, took her fingerprints and custody photos, and questioned her extensively.
Speaking to LBC, Ms Brown said she had been left in a "catatonic state" by the ordeal and suffered "unspeakable devastation and trauma".
She added: "I find it quite traumatic even talking about this now. At no point did they [the officers] think to themselves, ‘Oh, this is a little bit of an overreaction for a moment, confiscating temporarily her iPads and popping over to her mum's to have a coffee’. It was just a complete overreaction."
Ms Brown criticised the police handling of the case as "thoroughly unprofessional," adding: "They were speaking to my mother, who is in her 80s, like she was a criminal."

Murder , rape , assaults ,migrants hanging around outside schools and shoplifting rates are through the roof but arresting white British people for nothing is the best our police have to offer , to say I'm angry would be a vast understatement , it seems responsible parenting is now illegal in England.
