Here is a picture of the sluice with a few improvements. I put expanded aluminum over the bedding mat, the kind you use over gutters to keep debris out. I added the short front legs to level up the flow. You can see how the water just gets over the riffle at the bottom now. If you look at the old picture you can see how sharply it sits at the bottom and has a build-up of sand. No need to weigh it down like I did last year with the legs on the end now.
