American Chronicles was a documentary television program produced by Mark Frost through Lynch/Frost Productions.


A three-month series of documentaries, hosted by actor Richard Dreyfuss, look at some of the more unusual aspects of American society. Considering that the director is David Lynch, the aspects chosen are some of the much more unusual ones. Subjects chosen for the Lynch treatment include Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and the grueling weeks of training at a US Marine boot camp.

In episode 10 about Hugh Hefner, "Once Upon a Time" was expanded into a feature (1992) IMDB, it had limited theatrical release and was released on VHS, LD and DVD but they are all Out-of-Print now. The Zip archive link contains a DVDrip copy.

The 150 yr old guy is probably the secret archivist warehouse man in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Civil rights, affirmative action, feminism, disability rights, corporate diversity, inclusion, equity not equality, Black Lives Matter all went into the DEI pot resulting in a Frankenstein religion with government funding. A big part of the Our Democracy package was not just the bribes but the deliberate trillion $ proselytizing of DEI, a synthetic religion best compared to the French Revolution's Cult of Reason. It was heavily funded but no one has explained why it is so important.

The most obvious but controversial answer is that every world order needs a religion to bind it together, and the American Deep State made one up from all the bits and pieces of left wing activism going back to the 60s. DEI is the syncretic result. Where the Cult of Reason invented new days in the calendar, DEI invented new genders. The biggest shock from Doge is revealing to the public how deep politics and foreign policy really work. Even those who have eaten sausage for years are shocked by how it's made.

Politicians are paid off not bumped off. Foreign countries are bribed instead of invaded. The corrupters might even see themselves as like the Grand Inquisitor, doing the dirty work for all mankind.

To be fair Our Democracy and its consensus building media worked for a long time and probably prevented a WWIII. But it's day is over. What seeks to replace it as the new mechanism is obvious. A global network, data, AI, for full spectrum dominance. As above, so below. Our Common Mind.
