It turns out there were sightings for basically the entire year in the USA. Silver saucers in V formation.

Huh, I did not know there was that many sightings reported on in 1947. WoW! Apparently old school research still kicks ass. Also, old magazines from that era. You probably already been there done that. I seen my first & only UFO out in the desert of SE Oregon.
