Nightmare on Wall Street as tech stocks lose $1T over Chinese AI startup DeepSeek
So the drones over New Jersey that they couldn't explain were in fact authorized by the FAA. And some congress critters couldn't be making it any more transparent that they purposely stoked a media panic for clout.
Trump's press secretary Karoline Leavitt holds first White House briefing
FAA Press Release
I just discovered they said this back in December. LOL. It is funny we ended up back at the official FAA version of things after Trump on Jan 9th promised to reveal the secret behind the alleged drone swarms. Round & round we go.
Interesting side note here is that they pulled this one from the playbook of the Robertson Panel: "The use of true cases showing first the 'mystery' and then the 'explanation' would be forceful."

Trump signs executive order reinstating service members who refused the COVID vaccine. Those who return are eligible for full back pay.

TRUMP TURNED ON THE WATER for California
These utopian futurist techno billionaires (and wannabe's) have decided it is their time to dominate the world. I'd like to believe much of this is for the greater good but I also know a little about tech marketing which very often (nearly always nowadays) is a cover, an illusion for something else entirely with many wonderful sounding allusions to get the sheeple onboard. It works for a little while until that trap door slams shut; though many won't even notice the door is locked once inside.
Mr. Wonderful pitching $70 billion dollar Wonder Valley of algorithmic dance in Alberta. 58 buildings, 35 million sq ft., 5.6GW AI load, 7.5 GW total power. 7.5 gigawatts, or 7.5 billion watts out in the middle of literally nowhere which will require at least 10% of the province total natural gas supply. Rainbows & unicorns, come join a life of bliss in Wonder Oz. The bombastic TV personality believes he can attract sovereign wealth back to Canada. He also offered to buy TikTok with whose money I'm not sure.

The narration sounds hilariously unrealistic, if that’s even possible. "There's a valley," we’re told, "where technology and nature will come together in perfect harmony. ... The valley where the brightest minds unite, where electrons, machines and data come together in an algorithmic dance." I get trying to inspire the younger techno generation but c'mon at least make it sound a bit real instead of a low-budget Hollywood Sci-fi flick. I mean where, exactly, would all these additional electrons come from? Surely not wind and solar.
Three Mile Island nuclear plant is going to reopen to power Microsoft AI data centers. No such thing in Alberta, nor BC, nor Saskatchewan. In today's America of design, regulatory oversight and bureaucratic red tape it takes on average of TEN years to build a nuclear power plant. For example, Plant Vogtle in Georgia started construction in 2009 and took over a decade to reach commercial operation, with Unit 3 reactor starting in 2023 and Unit 4 starting in April 2024.
I guess Mr. Wonderful is going to need a miracle. Oh wait, his company CEO Instagram account declares that he "believes in miracles." Their company will need a few of those in order to get "Wonder Valley" built. Yes, the project has already secured the enthusiastic backing of the Alberta government that seems willing to believe almost anything if it leads to an increase in the use of fossil fuels. After all, AI is gonna cure cancer with magical mRNA vaccines according to the Oracle, Larry Ellison. Godspeed and happy drilling/fracking/mining.

Kevin O'Leary is on a mission to revive Canada and he's starting in Greenview Industrial Gateway, south of Grande Prairie, Alberta
What is clear is that Mr. O’Leary does not have $70 billion, nor were committed investors or data center customers included in his AI video or press release. Every billionaire & wannabe wants their own AI data center. AI is the new gold rush. There WILL be winners and losers.
Mr. Wonderful thinks he's on a mission from God. Natural Gas (200 trillion cubic feet in Alberta according to O'Leary) & coal for now. Nuke plants 2035 & beyond to feed its voracious appetite for data. Solar & wind for the sheeple. On the flip-side this will (maybe, time will tell) create tens of thousands of jobs within US & Canada and prop the economies back up.
This "incredible project" is, for now, just a website and a letter of intent signed between O’Leary Ventures and a small rural municipality. So far, it seems far more like an attempt to shake incentives and subsidies out of local governments and capitalize on the global investment community’s fascination with AI Yellow Brick Road allusions of grandeur right now than anything real or tangible.
As for the power conundrum, if the US military-industrial complex has secret hidden cold fusion or an Atlantis Tuaoi (crystal) power station, now would be a good time to unveil it. I mean those STARGATES require a lot of energy.
Funny how the carbon screamers have gone silent.

Denali officially known as Mount McKinley, is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level. On January 20, 2025, President Trump signed an executive order requiring the Secretary of the Interior (Walter Cruickshank) to revert this name change within 30 days of the order's signing. On January 23, 2025, the Department of the Interior changed the mountain's official name back to Mount McKinley.
