In 1974, Boyce was hired at TRW, an aerospace firm in Redondo Beach, California. He was the eldest of nine siblings. His father was a FBI agent. Boyce was released on parole from Sheridan federal prison in Oregon on September 16, 2002, after serving just over 25 years.

In real life, the former TRW Corporation is a vast deep rabbit hole that boggles the mind.

A multi-billion-dollar project heralded as "America's first true high-speed passenger rail system" will not be running in time to serve travelers heading to California for the Olympics, according to reports.

The Brightline West railway line is set to run between Las Vegas, Nevada, and Rancho Cucamonga, California. Officials have said the trains will reach top speeds of up to 220 mph and that they will be capable of making the trip in under two hours. The $12.4 billion line will intersect with California's existing Metrolink system, which passengers could then use to travel into downtown Los Angeles.
