Doesn't surprise me. It's in Richmond. Nothing good has ever happened in Richmond, nothing good has ever come out of Richmond.
The only panic attacks I've ever had in my entire life always happened at a specific spot just outside of Richmond. Years ago, in the 1980's, When I was living in the Tidewater area of Virginia (lots of military folks, lots of military bases, lots of military contracts), I periodically made the 8 hour drive from there to home for visits. At a particular spot on 295, which is a feeder that arcs north of Richmond, linking 64 (east) 64 (west) and 95 (north), I almost always had a panic attack at a particular spot on 295 when I would take it to get around Richmond instead of going through it. Scary, they were - my left arm would start going numb and my heart felt like a fish flopping around in my chest, along with hyper-ventilation and such. I never found a good reason for them to happen there - nothing else had ever happened to me there, no reason for panic to be induced - so I blame it on Richmond. I've never, ever had a panic attack anywhere else in the world. Just that one particular place... and it has happened more than once there.
Piss on Richmond. I'd be just as happy if they nuked the whole damned city to get rid of this one miscreant. Then they could move the capitol of Virginia to Roanoke, and maybe the state government would stop forgetting that the state doesn't end at the Blue Ridge.
