The civil defense film DUCK AND COVER premiered during the Wash, DC launch of the Alert America touring exhibition Jan 7, 1952. People dressed in "Bert the Turtle" outfits helped promote the movie. FCDA administrator Millard Caldwell sent a letter of congrats to the exec producer.
