An interesting story, and far more plausible than many folks would realize.
The only problem I had with the tale was when Chauncey decided to go to ground near the end of the video. When one revolves in those circles, and two of The Men in the Gray Flannel Cammies come looking for you, it's not the wisest move to contact ANYONE who is also involved in those circles looking for a safe house. No one with those connections... say, for instance Lawyer Belcher.... is a safe bet to get you to a safe hidey hole and then not rat your location out to The Men in the Gray Flannel Cammies.
A prudent man will maintain his own "safe houses" and his own plan to vanish, and never tell anyone at all about it.
Also, they WILL "manufacture" excuses to imprison you and then hold that over your head unless you agree to play ball. I do wonder if that isn't what got Chauncey sent to prison, rather than the excuse of "mail fraud" listed on the charge sheet...
