November 17, 1869: The Suez Canal in Egypt was officially opened, during a lavish Inauguration Ceremony. It had taken 10 years to build. It’s an artificial sea-level waterway connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea through the Isthmus of Suez.


In a distinct British voice: Entirely financed by Britain and France. Lost in 1956 - with a great deal of help from our "key ally" which led to the Suez Crisis of October–November 1956.


November 17, 1913: German monarch Kaiser Wilhelm II banned members of the the armed forces from dancing the Tango while in uniform, describing the dance as “Rinnsteinkind”, (a child of the curbstone) but tango was all the rage among the high classes especially in Germany. It was fashionable to throw elegant “Tango Tea Parties” but it began to incur the wrath of government and church leaders. Cardinal Amette in Paris declared that “Christians should not in good conscience take part in it.” Pope Benedict XV complained “An outrageous, indecent, heathen dance, which is an assassination of family and social life”...Despite these bans the tango survived, particularly through the First World War, as people sought distractions from the horrors of war.

November 17, 1970: The Soviet Union soft landed the Luna 17 spacecraft on the moon in the Sea of Rains at 3:46:50 UT on at 38.23764 N, 35.00163 W., which included an unmanned, remote-controlled vehicle called Lunokhod 1. It was the 1st remote-controlled space "rover" to freely move across the surface of the moon.


The operations of Lunokhod officially ceased on October 4, 1971, the anniversary of Sputnik 1. Just imagine how far along WE would be if only we had made friends in pioneering a joint space program back in 1963. Then again if you believe in the secret space program, who knows what they have out there today.


November 17, 1995: "Today" which became the UK’s newest national daily newspaper in 1986, ceased publication. It was launched on 4 March 1986, as a major rival to the long-established UK tabloids, and had pioneered computer photo-typesetting and full-colour printing. The colour was initially crude, but it forced the conversion of all UK national newspapers to electronic production and colour printing. The newspaper's motto, hung in the newsroom, was "propa truth, not propaganda".


The editorial said: "Now we are forced into silence by the granite and unforgiving face of the balance sheet". In the immediate aftermath of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, the Today paper showed a fireman carrying the body of a young girl under the headline "In the name of Islam", however it was found that the bombing had been perpetrated by two anti-government white supremacists. November 17, 1991: Secret Government Succession Plans. CNN aired an investigative piece on the U.S. government's COG-centric National Program Office or N.P.O.



The NPO was an office of the United States Government, established to ensure continuity of government in the event of a national disaster. The NPO was established by a secret executive order (National Security Decision Directive 55) signed on Sept 14, 1982 by President Ronald Reagan during the Cold War in preparation for a nuclear war, presumably with the Soviet Union.

The NPO plan was classified Top Secret, codeword Pegasus. It was also referred to as Project 908 (also known as "Nine Naught Eight"). The only oversight was by a Project Pegasus committee chaired by then-Vice President George Herbert Walker Bush. The committee included The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (or his deputy), FBI Director William H. Webster, Attorney General Edwin Meese III and other top cabinet officials. The action officer for the project was Marine Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, who then worked at the National Security Council under retired Marine Lieutenant Colonel Robert McFarlane.

It was reactivated/re-funded after 9/11 + Patriot Act and continues to this day. This is the actual real so-called deep state, shadow gov't. Their greatest purpose during peacetime is to effect policy changes, domestic & abroad by any means necessary via a cabal of Internationalists to keep the "system" running.

Those in shadow power seem to like the codeword "Pegasus" as it's been used across many mil/intel projects.
