Regarding the link in the OP, I poked around and did not find any questionable scripts on the surface, but that doesn't mean none are there, only that I couldn't find any.
For anyone curious about the book found at the link, here is a link to a PDF copy of the 1972 edition that I trust more, as links go, since it is housed at Archive.org. Some PDFs can have questionable embedded links, but if I were going to open the PDF, I would download it and open it in a very basic PDF reader, one that doesn't provide the "full suite" of abilities and more to the point, no macros... and I would definitely not open it in any Adobe Acrobat version.
