There’s a $2 billion NSA data center in Utah desert that spies on all of our phones except for one owned by some 20 year old would-be assassin who looks strangely like Liz Warren. Also, strange how that 20 year old weirdo with zero training was able to bypass the highest levels of government security without the F-15s I’ve been assured he would need in order to do so.
The world is a stage and when events unravel so dramatically it requires intense skepticism and it sure doesn't smell right. Elon throwing millions behind Trump? JD Vance and his Silicon Valley allies join with him. What is actually happening in plain sight.
"But I think the American people expect more from us than cries of indignation and attack. The times are too grave, the challenge too urgent, and the stakes too high--to permit the customary passions of political debate. We are not here to curse the darkness, but to light the candle that can guide us through that darkness to a safe and sane future. As Winston Churchill said on taking office some twenty years ago: if we open a quarrel between the present and the past, we shall be in danger of losing the future.
Today our concern must be with that future. For the world is changing. The old era is ending. The old ways will not do."

The German Navy still uses 8" floppy disks. A reminder that the pace of technological change may be fast, but legacy systems remain in place for decades, especially in gov't & military. Sometimes old tech rules.
Up until 2014 the US Air Force stored nuclear codes on floppies. Their reasoning? Cannot be hacked since the system is not connected to the Internet.
What is the likelihood this will happen?

Quote:Floppies keep floppin’
For the typical person, floppy disks are obsolete, but government bodies with already established and successfully running systems in place have been much slower to abandon the old storage medium. Besides the German Navy and US Air Force, Japan only last month officially stopped using floppy disks in governmental systems. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency plans to use 5¼-inch floppies to help run San Francisco's Muni Metro light rail system until 2030.
