Reading your post gave me flashbacks of that movie "Alexander". He tried to conquer the world, civilize the barbarians and make people equal by taking from some people to raise up other people who wouldn't do the same for themselves. In the end he was murdered. Eventually even the most compassionate people reach a breaking point in such scenarios because rather than people being raised up everyone ends up being brought down.
Resources are not infinite. When the givers start doing without and the takers are not the empathy ends- and heads will roll! The time is upon us.

As an American it's your responsibility to have your own strategic duck stockpile. You can't expect the government to do it for you.
