I was talking with one of our youth at church today.

I told her that I was amazed at how quickly she has grown up. She is 16, and I watched her grow up as a baby.

I told her that one day she will be the one amazed at how quickly the little ones grow up, yet she will never look in the mirror and say to herself, "Wow! Look at how grown up I am!"

I told her she could live until she is 202, and even if her body will no longer perform at age level 13 anymore, in her mind she will never grow old.

Funny that she didn't pick up on all the signs that that picture was taken a wee while back.
