Here's the sad truth I've learned from listening to my younger generations. They've learned from watching us. Their elders, and what we've gone through.

It's great to have some actual confirmation for what I've read about.

"Here we see young people growing up; honestly they say: this is stupid. What our elders babbled to us does not correspond to reality." (Molotov)

I've interviewed members from younger generations about their upbringing and schooling, but I hadn't considered asking them about where they got their mannerisms from! In my experience, they talked more about how teachers alienated them from certain subjects, how school put them through the wringer with so little downtime in between taking exams, etc.

A lot of the young men claim they don't want children because of watching parents go through things like child support. And all the hellish arguments that has ensued. They've watched all the divorces. All the adultery. All the disrespect. All of it. They've watched us and they've learned from us.

Yeah, I've interviewed younger people who grew up with abusive parents or parents who divorced.

But society & the system are also to blame for all this with their legal concepts, not to mention the social stigmas which were in place for divorce, for remarrying, and even for prostitutes.

"So I take my hat off and respect somebody that has been divorced twenty five times because they are searching; they are seeking. But our society says, you have been married twice; there is something wrong with you." (Jacque Fresco, Conformity or Sanity, 1978)

I heard a story about the serial killer Joachim Kroll: three times his crimes were pinned on innocents and they each got ostracized by their community and committed suicide due to social stigma iirc.

Also, all the baseless talk about "realism" and the longstanding belief that the media should reflect reality merely reinforces negative perception, reminds people of the ugliness they're seeking to escape from.

The system worked. It broke the foundation of the family. Robots will replace lovers. People will love their nifty new AI Tesla robots one day soon. They've created the problem, and will soon be marketing the "solution."

Not if the engineers with the know-how suddenly die out!
