Looks like I am going to have to live with this for a while.
I haven't seen the little one since Thanksgiving week. I was talking to the little one's Mother on the phone today. She heard my voice and started yelling, "Grandma!" "Grandma!"
Her mother, corrected her and told her, "No, it is Auntie."
She said, "Yeah!" "Auntie Grandma!'
No one can figure out why, she insists on calling me grandma. But I think it is here to stay. At least for a while.
